FAQ
1. How long is the editing/design/layout process?
That would depend on the actual project.
As soon as all details of the project are complete, we can finish the design in as fast as one or two days. This is dependent on many factors such as our current workload, complexity and type of the project, etc. Upon our acceptance of a project we will advice the delivery date.
We can also accept rush jobs but at a premium depending on the timetable required. On the other hand we also offer mark downs if we do not meet our committed delivery date.
2. How about corrections and revisions?
Upon submission of the final work, the client has the option to ask for revisions or corrections. Each type of project has its own revision policy and we will submit this together with our quote on a per project basis.
3. What are your rates?
We can assure you that we offer the lowest costs in the business without sacrificing quality. Go ahead and email us now for your requirements. You can send an email through our Contact Page and then compare our rates with other designers.
4. What about copyright?
All our works will have our copyright notice. This also serves as one of our advertisement vehicles. It is possible to forego the copyright notice but we will have to change an additional fifty percent (50%) on top of our regular fee.
5. What are your payment terms?
We require seventy five percent (75%) upon acceptance and before the start of a project and the balance of twenty five percent (25%) before the submission of the final work/s.
6. How can I send the payment?
We can accept payment by PayPal. This is the most convenient method for paying for goods and services worldwide and you are protected by their buyer protection policy.
Another option would be by Western Union Money Transfer. At this moment we cannot accept direct payment by credit cards.
7. Can you do projects other than in English?
Yes, we can do project other than in English. Projects in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and other languages are possible except those that require special characters (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Hebrew, etc.)
The client must provide the complete text in the language chosen with translation in English. We try our best but cannot guarantee correctness of the text but the client has the option for revisions or corrections see question number 2 above.
8. What details or information do you need?
The details or information needed depends on the actual project. Basically what we will need are;
- Type of project
- Orientation (landscape or portrait)
- Size (in inches/centimeters or pixels)
- Use (for website/email or print)
- Background (picture or plain color)
- Text (to be included in the design)
From the above information, we can start the design process. Should we need additional details we will contact the client.
9. How do we send photos, information, designs, etc.?
All communication and exchange of files are by email or Yahoo Messenger. We check our email accounts regularly throughout the day and we try to reply within one day or even shorter depending on the information needed.
10. Do you accept agents to promote your work?
Yes, we are open to partnerships to help us promote our work. You can send an email through our Contact Page with your details and intentions and we will answer with the details.
11. I am not a very good photographer and the photos I take may not be good enough. Could you give me some tips?
If you have a digital camera you can take your own pigeon photos for editing. All it really takes is a lot of patience to get the bird in the right position or stance for a good photo. After some practice, anyone can get good enough to take photo for editing purposes.
We’d be happy to give you some advice if you need them when taking your bird photos.
12. Do you do graphics/designs other than pigeons?
Yes, we decided to concentrate on pigeon related designs but the designs can and are applicable to other genres as well.
14. Are the designs you make only for the web or electronic use?
No, all of our designs and layout can also be used for print. They can be printed either by your computer printer or offset professional printers. You must however tell us what the final output media is so we may optimize the design and file process to make sure that the final work will meet the media requirements.
It is also possible to make a design suitable for more than one media.
For example: You may have a PDF brochure/catalog commissioned and have two outputs, one for download from your website and one for offset printing. There will be some different processes involved but the final design and outputs would be the same.
14. I still have some questions, how can I contact you?
Go to our Contact Page if you have some more questions or just to say hi.
